The World of Gardening
One of the things I have enjoyed doing this spring, is reconstructing our flower beds. For several years, we had been content to let the beds remain with the shrubs which had occupied them since the early 1990’s. This year, however, we re-dug and expanded the beds, put new mulch throughout, and planted many new flowers. It is still a work in progress, but it has been a joy to do and to see. Part of the joy has been working with Becky on the project. Another part of my joy has been the fact that the project made Becky happy. One of my favorite plants is our mandevilla. We have two. One is white and the other is pink. We have placed them on trellises at each end of the front of the house. I hope you enjoy the photo.
